Architectural / AutoCAD Designer
Seeking an experienced freelance designer to help refine the architectural plans for custom homes and buildings.The designer will work directly with the project architect and builder.
Responsibilities:
Create new and modify existing AutoCAD/DWG floor plans.
Improve room layouts, dimensions, circulation, and functionality.
Develop detailed designs for staircases, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, outdoor areas, and home theater.
Prepare 2D plans, elevations, sections, and occasional 3D renderings.
Incorporate feedback and maintain organized drawing revisions.
Requirements:
Strong AutoCAD and residential drafting experience.
Experience with large custom homes in the United States.
Ability to translate sketches, photos, and instructions into accurate designs.
Revit, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or 3D-rendering experience is a plus.
Please provide relevant work samples, software experience, availability, and compensation requirements. Final plans will be reviewed and approved by the project Manager.
