Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with a strong technical understanding of full-stack web applications to transform data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and visualizing website, application, marketing, and business performance data, building dashboards, and providing recommendations that support strategic decision-making.

This role requires strong expertise in GA4, dashboard creation, data analysis, digital marketing analytics, and understanding of full-stack web application architecture. The candidate will work closely with development, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to identify trends, troubleshoot data issues, and improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analytics & Reporting
- Manage and maintain Google Analytics 4 (GA4) implementations.
- Configure and monitor events, conversions, tracking parameters, and user interactions.
- Analyze website, web application, and campaign performance data.
- Generate reports and actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Monitor KPIs and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

2. Dashboard Development
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Looker Studio and other BI tools.
- Integrate data from GA4, CRM systems, advertising platforms, APIs, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Develop business and executive-level dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports.

3. Full-Stack & Technical Analytics
- Understand full-stack web application architecture, including frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and data flow.
- Work with technologies such as React, Python, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
- Understand REST APIs, SQL, and frontend-backend integration.
- Collaborate with developers to implement and troubleshoot GA4, GTM, events, conversions, and data tracking.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies between applications, databases, and analytics platforms.

4. Marketing Analytics
- Analyze digital marketing performance across SEO, PPC, email, social media, and other channels.
- Track customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention metrics.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide optimization recommendations.
- Support attribution and marketing ROI analysis.

5. Data Analysis & Insights
- Translate complex datasets into clear business recommendations.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Identify patterns, customer behavior trends, and growth opportunities.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

6. Data Governance & Quality
- Maintain data integrity and reporting standards.
- Perform regular audits of tracking and analytics implementations.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot tracking, API, and data collection issues.
- Document reporting methodologies and analytics processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Proficiency in Looker Studio.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Good understanding of SQL, APIs, and databases.
- Understanding of full-stack web application development.
- Familiarity with React, Python, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of UTM parameters, event tracking, and conversion tracking.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Understanding of data visualization best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience integrating APIs and multiple data sources.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, or BigQuery is an advantage.
