Core Blending Engineer

What you will do

If successful, your key deliverables will include: Provide deep technical knowledge of blending principles, technology, and work processes to manufacturing sites across the globe Provide specialist consulting and technical support to affiliates worldwide for new and deployed applications, including blending troubleshooting and assistance with optimization issues Provide technical leadership through technical training, work process reviews and best practice implementations Closely work with site technology leads, manufacturing sites, process engineering, business stakeholders & business support functions to identify new opportunities, define the scope, cost, benefits and project schedule for new optimization opportunities. Support R&D activities in blending, optimization and overlapping technologies. About you Skills and

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have: • Minimum 5 years of experience in fuel product blending within refining/chemical operations Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities BS / MS in an engineering discipline (Chemical Engineering or Chemistry only) Degrees in Data Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Math, or related fields will be considered & are encouraged to apply Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Industrial experience in Blending optimization and/or coordination Advanced MS Excel Macro development. Experience in statistical quality control (SQC) and statistical tools (JMP) Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, accuracy, effectiveness, and self-confidence Demonstrations of leadership and mentoring abilities Experience in hydrocarbon processing or supply chain optimization/coordination, ideally within Refining or PetroChemicals organisations. Understanding of key economic decisions in hydrocarbon processing supply chain is a plus Your
