Generalist, Client Services (Account Services), SME Banking

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for SME clients, resolving inquiries related to daily banking transactions, account maintenance, and digital platform usage.
• Deliver high-quality service by ensuring timely and accurate resolution of client issues and escalations.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and product teams to facilitate smooth client onboarding and account setup processes.
• Ensure all client service activities adhere to regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and internal bank policies.
• Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the client experience.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in client service, operations, or relationship support within the financial services industry, preferably in SME banking.
• Solid knowledge of banking products, cash management services, and trade transactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proficiency in utilizing banking systems and digital client platforms.
