Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Validation - Verify dimensional, material, and functional compliance of samples against drawing requirements.
• PPAP / ISIR Documentation Management - Review, verify, and ensure readiness of PPAP and ISIR documentation.
• Manufacturing Process Assessment - Conduct process verification and audits for Machining, Aluminium Forging, Casting, Surface Treatment Processes etc. and to ensure adherence to control plans
• Measurement & Inspection Systems - Demonstrate strong knowledge and practical use of inspection instruments, including - VC, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Profile Projector, CMM, Surface Roughness Tester etc. and Evaluate Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies.
• GD&T Interpretation - Possess thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to Interpret engineering drawings and evaluate dimensional compliance.
• Problem Solving & Quality Tools - Lead Quality problem investigations using 8D, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram
• Preparing and revising quality characteristics check-sheets for TPI and co-ordination with third party inspectors.
• To assist reporting manager in other quality related activities and documentation
