Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs. Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code using languages like Python, Go, or Java. Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for scalability. Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver features. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical direction and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development. Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and associated frameworks. Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), distributed systems, and API design. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies is a plus.
